My love affair with this denim dream store began in Soho, NY. The store is quaint and cozy. Nothing crazy or over the top is happening there. It's like the calm after an H&M and Topshop storm. Madewell is the perfect love child of J.Crew and Anthropologie. Many polished casual looks are born here and please believe, denim dreams do come true at Madewell. I am in LOVE with their Spring Lookbook! Lace, mixed prints, pastels, and denim all living together in perfect harmony. I've found my inspiration for my Spring wardrobe! Madewell will be making it's debut in San Diego later this Spring! Are you excited?? No?? COLD SHOULDER

Don't be afraid to give them the "Cold Shoulder" this Spring! COLD shoulder, not to be confused with a BOLD shoulder, Rachel. (Just got off the phone with my cousin and she was like, "Wait. What? Say that again slowly." Haha). Pay homage to a trend born in the 90s and let your shoulders speak for themselves. Sometimes all it takes is just a little skin to add the right amount of sexy or edge to your look. Mama always said "A little shoulder never hurt nobody." Well, she didn't really say that but I just wanted to throw that in here for fun. Leave me alone. Anyway,  I prefer the blouses and sweaters to the knits. The funny thing about this top is once you have it on your posture will instantly improve, and you will be forced to shoulder pop at least once an hour. And if you don't know what a shoulder pop is, just find a dancer and ask. The "Cold Shoulder" is fun, flirty, and all those other annoying adjectives used to describe Spring Trends. Well, well, well... it looks like we are going to be rocking some major ankle accessories this Spring/Summer. And no I am not talking about those tacky ankle bracelets from the 80s! Put those away or sell them at your coworkers next "Cash For Gold Party". Have you guys ever been to one of those? You can sell all your ghetto gold and make some major cash! Anyway, back to business. The "Ankle Strapped Heel" is the latest and greatest trend for your Spring/Summer shoe! I like it! Actually, I LOVE it! Let's be real, I don't write about things that I don't absolutely love with all my heart and soul. Is that any indication of how much I'm into this trend? Yes. OK, good. Stay STRAPPED this season ladies!
